Solitude and Brighton ski resorts are located adjacent to each other at the end of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake City. There is an access gate and trail that connects the two resorts, and a single lift pass can be purchased to so that you can ski both resorts in the same day.
Solitude is a great winter resort with diverse terrain and reasonable lift ticket rates. At Solitude you will find an excellent selection of groomed runs such as the wide open Little Dollie or the wind-through-the-trees North Star run - both perfect for beginners. Axcess Cards give incredible diversity in lift ticket types including half-day, full-day, multi-day, and even pay-per-ride.
