At StoneMaps, the customer comes first.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we understand that you may change your mind after you place your order.
While we would like to be able to receive returns under any circumstances, we have limitations placed on us by product manufacturers and our suppliers.
Our Return Policy will explain when we are able to accept returns and the procedure to do so.
We want to be clear about our policy upfront so that you can make an informed purchase decision.
Policy Summary
If you receive your product and decide within 30 days of your purchase that you do not wish to keep it, we will accept returns for a refund, credit or exchange for any item (except software - see below) returned in as-new condition.
In order to process your return, you must contact us within the 30 days for return authorization (see below).
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
If we have made a mistake in processing your order, we will pay for return shipping; otherwise you are responsible for return shipping charges.
We are unable to accept returns beyond 30 days after your purchase.
Software Items
Non-defective software that is purchased and delivered on a physical media, such as a CD, can only be returned if the software is unopened and sealed in its original packaging.
Defective software can be exchanged for the exact product within 30 days.
If you discover a software product is defective after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer directly.
StoneMaps resort maps are software files that you purchase on our website. To allow you instant access to your purchased maps, many StoneMaps resort maps are available for download to your computer.
You do not have to wait for these maps to be shipped to you; however, since they are not delivered on physical media and are not sealed, non-defective maps cannot be returned. If a map is defective, you can download another copy of the same title from our website in the "My Account" section (see our Shipping Policy for details).
Defective Returns
If you find that your product has an operating problem or is defective, we will exchange that product for a new item within 30 days of your purchase.
Defective software products may be exchanged for the same title.
Please email us for return authorization.
If you have equipment problems after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty repair.
We take great care in packaging products for shipment; however, there is the possibility that products may be damaged during shipping.
If you feel that your product was damaged in transit, please contact us immediately so that we can submit a claim with the delivery company.
Return Procedures
Please email us at support@stonemaps.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number.
Include your order number and a description of the item you would like to return.
We will contact you with detailed return instructions.
Return requests after 30 days from your purchase, or without a return authorization, cannot be accepted.
Return authorizations are valid for 10 business days, and the RMA number must appear clearly on the shipping box, or shipping label of the return shipment, and on a copy of your Invoice enclosed with the return.
Please do not use the product box itself as your shipping package. Once we receive your return, we will issue a refund within 14 days, by mail or original credit card.
As-new condition means that all data must be purged and the product must be returned with the original packaging, instructions, registration card, software and accessories.
Items that are returned damaged, or are not in as-new condition may be refused or charged a restocking fee.
